Friday Afternoon Shopping

Kelsey is off on Fridays, so after sleeping late and then having brunch at Macy's, we decided to take an afternoon shopping trip.  Topshop was her store of choice, and it was off to SoHo we went.  We explored three floors of Topshop (mainly for inspiration), but Kelsey did pick up some unusual pieces of jewelry, an ear cuff and a nail ring, which also scored her a Topshop shopping bag.
Next we went to Daffy's, a store specializing in designer clothes and accessories at discount prices.  It has several branches spread around the city (including one across the street from our apartment), but the SoHo store is supposed to have the best selections.  We explored two floors and made a "few" purchases.
We left Daffy's headed to a vintage clothing store and passed by the neatest store.  I don't even remember the name of the store, but its walls were lined with vintage sewing machines -- hundreds of vintage sewing machines.  It was such a fun design that I couldn't resist sneaking a picture or two.
As we left this store, a storm was definitely about to hit; therefore, the plan to go to the vintage clothing store was abandoned for another day and off  to the subway we headed along with everyone else.  As we exited near our apartment, my sweet little mouse left all the packages with me to carry up and she ran down the street to pick up our dinner.  She returned just as the storm was starting, and we enjoyed a quiet dinner at home.

Me trying on the ear cuff!
